CAMINO ZADAR

CAMINO ZADAR

The Camino Zadar is a Croatian section of the famous Camino de Santiago pilgrimage network, officially recognized as part of the Way of St. James. This unique route weaves together spiritual, historical, and natural landmarks across the Zadar region, guiding pilgrims all the way to the beautiful city of Zadar.

Stretching for about 110 kilometers, the Camino Zadar is usually completed in 5 to 6 stages. It begins at the Maslenica Bridge on the Adriatic coast and winds through charming villages, olive groves, and ancient towns steeped in Roman and medieval history.

Just like in Spain, the Camino Zadar route is marked with the iconic yellow arrows and scallop shells. Pilgrims can collect stamps in their credential (pilgrim passport) along the way, and those who reach the end of the trail in Zadar can receive an official certificate of completion, known as the Compostelana.
