Itinerary

  • Day 1 – arrival at Zadar airport
  • Day 2 –cycling Zadar to Nin  (overnight in Zadar) – start a day in 3000-year-old Zadar city. Explore its busy streets, visit Sea Organ or take a coffee with locals. Then head to Nin and discover its rich history and natural beauty. Stop by the Salt Museum!
  • Day 3 – hiking/walking Paklenica National Park  (overnight in Zadar) – a combination of stunning views, interesting hiking paths and wild and preserved nature will make this day unforgettable.
  • Day 4 – cycling Ugljan island  (overnight in Zadar) – explore “the green island” cycling along the seaside, olive groves and pine trees. Charming little villages tell stories about fishing traditions and producing homemade olive oil. They hide in beautiful secluded bays and beaches; you can discover them all on your cycling day.
  • Day 5 – cycling Dugi otok, Telašćica Nature Park  (overnight in Zadar) – this island is a gem of the Zadar archipelago. Telašćica is famous for the 200 m high cliffs over the sea and the salt lake Mir. A view over the islands, the cliffs, and the captivating blue sea make lifetime memories.
  • Day 6 – cycling Zadar hinterland to Biograd  (overnight in Biograd) – enjoy the sea view during this short ride and, once in Biograd,  stroll around this charming Mediterranean town, stop for a drink or have lunch in one of the many restaurants that serve local cuisine.
  • Day 7 – hiking Vrana Vrana Lake Nature Park – today’s hiking paths take you to the Croatian largest natural lake. It’s an ornithological reserve where more than 260 bird species live. A viewpoint Kamenjak is a “must-see”!
  • Day 8 – cycling Ravni kotari region (overnight in Biograd) – this is a region of amazing nature and hospitable people who have preserved their traditions and incorporated them into everyday life.
  • Day 9 cycling Pašman island (overnight in Biograd) -this picturesque island will seduce you with the clearest sea on this part of the Adriatic, preserved nature, a scent of medicinal herbs and numerous bike trails that lead to the beaches and charming villages. Take your time to enjoy the scenery and take some photos!
  • Day 10 – hiking Krupa river (overnight in Obrovac) – this small river with its famous Kudin most bridge tells a story of love, devotion and bravery. It is surrounded by an amazing landscape ideal for a picnic. While you enjoy the food, close your eyes and listen to the music the river makes. If you want to add more to your hiking itinerary, visit the Krupa monastery.
  • Day 11National Park Krka (overnight in Obrovac) – this national park has several ” must-sees, ” including Skradinski buk waterfal,  Visovac island, and Roški slap waterfall. You will fall in love with natural and cultural heritage of the park.
  • Day 12 – hiking Plitvice National Park (overnight in Obrovac) – this national park is a part of the UNESCO List of World Heritage and the first Croatian national park. It comprises sixteen lakes that you can explore by boat. You can choose from four different hiking trails. No matter which one you choose, you will have an unforgettable day admiring waterfalls, walking through the forest zones and exploring famous karst landscapes.
