SAINT ANASTASIA'S CATHEDRAL

This is the biggest Dalmatian cathedral. Its oldest part belongs to an early Christian basilica but its newer parts are built in 12th century. The church has a beautiful bell tower. Its lower part dates in 15th and its upper part in 19th century. From the top of the bell tower you can enjoy the view over the entire city and Zadar channel.

SAINT SIMEON'S CHURCH

St. Simeon is one of the four guardian saints of Zadar. On the main altar you can see a silver chest of the saint from the year 1380. The chest weighs 250 kg and it was built by a goldsmith Franjo from Milan. Queen Elisabeth had it made for the relics of Saint Simeon.

CHURCH OF ST. CHRYSOGONUS

This church is a three-nave basilica built in Romanesque style. In its interior you can see a number of Romanesque and Byzantine frescoes.
The church and its bell tower are parts of the formerly Benedictine abbey. Music writings and a book of rites from the 15th century were found in the abbey.
