SAKARUN BEACH
Sakarun beach – 800 meters of finest white sand and turquoise sea – no wonder this is one of the most beautiful and most popular beaches in Zadar County. Here you can enjoy sun and clear water but you can also refresh since there are two catering facilities on the beach.
LIGHTHOUSE VELI RAT
On the north-western side of the island you can visit lighthouse Veli rat. With its 42 meters this is the highest lighthouse in the Adriatic. Near the lighthouse there is the chapel of St. Nicholas, holy patron of the sailors and fishermen. Thanks to the beautiful nature and interesting architecture this place has become popular destination for weddings.
CAVE STRAŠNA PEĆ
The entrance of the cave is 10m wide and 7m tall.The first research in the cave took place in 1900. and the cave is opened for visitors ever since. Stalactites and stalagmites create unusual forms and turn the cave into the place of magic and beauty.
