What People Say?
Very nice experience We were looking for two bikes so we could ride to Nin, a small city near Zadar. In Zzuum they welcomed us in a friendly way and gave us all the information we needed. For only 200 kuna we rented two brand new bikes for 24 hours. The road to Nin goes up and down but with the bicylce gears it was child's play. We would really recomed Zzuum!
ValerieKindtReasonably priced - brilliant service Great little bike hire shop with all the equipment you need to explore the area by bike. The staff were really friendly and happy to give us information on good routes. We had a wonderful day - will definitely hire bikes from Zzuum again when we're next in Zadar.
Karen NEnjoyable day of Cycling We rented 2 bikes in the morning for the day. We asked for the route to Nin and we were given a map as well as oral directions on how to get there. The bikes we were given were in great condition and simple to use. We were also given a bike bag with a lock, a spare wheel, pump and tuning at no extra cost. There's also the option of keeping your bikes overnight if needed. We really enjoyed the opportunity to see more of the area and to get some. exercise in too. I'd highly recommend renting bikes from these guys for a cheap yet thoroughly enjoyable day out.
NiamhMcEnFriendly bike rental service This was the only physical bike rental space that we found on Zadar. The others deliver.
Zzuum staff were friendly, gave us island maps and ferry times, and the bikes were fine.
The cycle paths on Ugljan are not well marked! But Zzuum's advice on hidden swimming coves was perfect and we had a great day without the crowds.
Remember to go to the (very modern and efficient) Gazenica ferry port with the bikes to get to the islands, and not the pedestrian-only ferry in the Old Town.
The next day we cycled to Nin. Again cycle path signs are not good and all the one way route out of Zadar is against you. But this made coming back a doodle! Nin is spectacular with the salt pans and very exposed beach. Mid August is not the time to go! Crowds and too hot for those withnsun-sensitive skinralf wgreat bikes, awesome staff My friend and I rented bikes in Zzuum and although we already kinda knew where we wanted to go, they gave us more awesome tips on what not to miss, also gave us maps and explained everything. They were super-friendly and we loved the bikes we rented! I would definitely recommend them!
Thank you guys, once again!paulinamaricBike renting in Zadar from zzuum - Active Vacation We rented bicykles from zzuum - Active Vacation when we was in Zadar. It gave us the possibility to see and feel the beautiful coast/landscape. zzuum - Active Vacation gave us a map with biking routes and they sent with us spare parts in case something happened with the bike. We can recommend zzuum - Active Vacation. Torild and Bertil

ROADS TO NIN
Bike route to Nin goes along the seaside. So you can discover small villages or take more challenging, gravel roads and test your cycling skills. If you decide to take few photos, no problem! Just choose the spot you like the best, enjoy the view and make some memories for family and friends.
CHURCH OF THE HOLY CROSS
This little church is the symbol of Nin. It is called the smallest cathedral in the world.During the reign of Croatian kings it was used as a Court chapel. Although small, the church is beautiful and very interesting, not only because of its history but because of its architecture, too.
